Springdale at Cold Mountain is a true North Carolina mountain golf resort boasting a 6,800-yard course certain to challenge every club in your bag... and possibly your mental health too. The Springdale golf course is home to 50 year old Hemlocks that line the fairways and it's #13 hole called the "spasm". The front 9 holes are in the valled and provide a chance to settle down and find your swing.The front nine holes meander through the valley bordering the East Fork of the Pigeon River and mountains such as Sugar Top and Rocky Face. This allows golfers to begin their round with the softest movement on each hole. while the back side drives you ip the mountain slopes to challenge the best golfers.

This 431-yard par-4 demands a strong tee shot and a "thread the needle" approach to an elevated green protected by a bunker to the right and a creek on the left.
